Tyne View Tce where 3 families lived including my McNeill relatives . The property had previously belonged to Tennant's Chemical Company & occupied by its Chemist & staff. When Tennant's closed down the property was rented out. My McNeill's lived there from the 1930s to the 50s when it was demolished. The photo from my www.oldtyneside.co.uk website shows my Aunty Esther Dent nee McNeill with her children Gerard & Monica in Tyne View garden. |

This is Hebburn 'C' Pit with Lyon St running at the side of it. My father William was born at 47 Lyon St across from that Pit Wall. The Pit closed in the 30s & the land was eventually used by Hawthorn Leslie's for holding it's steel stock. |

The gap between houses in Ann St caused by a German bomb hitting the houses a few years earlier in WW2. One side of the street is still standing today & that gap was never built on. My photo from my www.oldtyneside.co.uk website shows the gap. |
