Whatever these are (stacked bricks?), they were in this location from at least 1944-1954. Possibly a building project delayed/abandoned due to WW2? This site became the Wirrina in the late 60s and is now ARU.

This terrible line of hovels known as 'Thackers Row' was where my wife was a child from birth in 1943 until the properties were condemned in the the early 1950's.
