Watford Metropolitan Railway - A station track layout designed to allow the release of locomotives from the head of arriving trains but by this time worked by electric trains with no engine. The platform still has a water crane for steam engines at the London end while the canopy appears to have lost a lot of glass.... but then it is 1946 so has possibly not been replace after wartime losses. |
