Dry-Dock No.6 "Trafalgar Dock". Was the world's largest before DD 7 was built at the north end of the Western Docks. Mostly filled in, but the outer end (about 50m) with the gate caisson has remained open to the sea.

Please! Not "cruise terminal" in 1950. Southampton had the Ocean Terminal.
