Site of the c16/17th century Red Lion coaching Inn, Redcliffe St with galleried apartments through the carriage arch. presumed demolished in the 1870s street widening program.

The Statue of King Neptune cast 1723 stood in the centre of Temple Street at this spot, halfway between Bear Lane and Long Row until c1790. As noted on Jacobus Millerds 1673 City map and later additions.
