Coolinge does not really exist as a place now. But in the foreground of the picture is Coolinge Lane. In the distance is the western side of the Metropole Hotel, which is really in Folkestone. So it would be better to describe this photo as of Coolinge Lane, Sandgate, with the Metropole in the Distance. |
