 Omega works - home to HK Furniture where my Dad worked as sales manager from 1960 until the 80's. I've a photo my Mum took of my Dad in his office leaning out of the ground floor window next to the goods in gate. Harringay dog and speedway track in the background. We moved to Hoddesdon and my Dad did the 20 mile commute on a Honda C70 for years, up and down the A10. In the winter, he had to wait until his hands warmed up before he could hold a knife and fork to eat his dinner. |
