The footbridge over the Pontop/Bowes rail tracks used by pedestrians to get from Hebburn into Jarrow. My photo was taken after the rail tracks were taken up. |

On my 1897 Map, this building was a Rectory. As this aerial view is 49 years later I don't know if it is still a Rectory. Here is the building in later years before demolition & it was nicknamed 'the sick office' |
