One of the Tecton designed buildings. Originally an open fronted cafe it is now a glass fronted Education Centre. I too wonder why it was thought necessary to be camouflaged! |

There looks to be a building here. very vague outline but its the general position and size that I remember. Part of old mine workings we were always told. |

Wren's Avenue. Behind this and extending over to Foxyards was the site of a mine. In 1960's there was a mine building remaining together with old rails, trucks etc. As a wild play area we used to find a lot of fossils. |

General area of Foxyards. A farm house existed there into the 1960's but was demolished to make way for housing estate which extended to Wren's Avenue. |
