This was the Bleachworks of Clarks Anchor Mills. The building was demolished about 1984 |

I would argue this is facing north and is part of the Clark and Co. Anchor Mills Thread Works. It seems to be the easternmost part of the Anchor Recreation area crossing north over the White Cart. This is also visible on another of your images: http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/image/spw045826 ...to the right/centre. |
