St. Paul's, Bow Common. This beautiful church was bombed and gutted in WW2. The four walls and steeple stood as an imposing monument and reminder of the 1940 'Blitz. It was demolished in 1957 and a contemporary church built on the site. This Anglican church won an award in 2013 for the best modern church to be built in the UK since 1953, largely due to the dedicated commitment of the Revd. Gresham Kirkby who was involved in the design.

The 'Greenway' running from Prince Regent Lane towards Stratford High Street.

The southern part of the 'Greenway, a pedestrian/cycle route which runs atop the Northern Outfall Sewer. It begins near Blackwall - with a break due to the railway line which bisects it near Bow.

The East London Cemetery which holds the burials and memorial to quite a few famous tragedies. One such is the murder of 18* infant children at the Upper North Street School (Poplar) now named the Mayflower School, by the Germans who dropped a high explosive bomb during their air raid over London on 13th June 1917. *Fifteen are burial in a communal plot and the remaining 3 elsewhere.
