 G-AAUP I think, which would make it Major Hargreaves' Klemm L25 Ia. Of all the aircraft in this photo and the others in the group taken at the same time, it looks the most modern; way ahead of the rest. |

Furthest away, as stated, G-AADO is a Gloster AS.31 Survey Biplane, registered 31/12/1928, sold to the South African Air Force in March 1933. In the foreground G-AASU is a Blackburn L.1C Bluebird IV, SB208, registered 9/12/1929, crashed at Hendon 7/6/1930. G-EBWF is an Avro 504K, registered 21/3/1928 (presumably ex-RAF?), scrapped Hornchurch, Essex December 1932. Most of the rest are deHavilland DH60 Gipsy Moths. |
