Robert Hall & Sons, Hope Foundry - Engineers, Millwrights, and Loom-makers. Generally known as "Bobby Hall's". The Hope Foundry produced power looms and textile machinery and was founded in 1844. There was a large fire in 1966 but the foundry continued to produce machinery for the carpet and textile industry. It closed in 1971.
