On the map there is said to be a Travelling Crane crossing the site almost east to west. They call these Blondins in the North Wales slate quarries. I can just make out the wire and it's shadow on the quarry floor.

Not a million miles away from the other photos in this group. Research time 5 minutes which makes up for the less productive time.

This is Narborough Quarry.

The territory seems very much the same as that in EPW08947. These quarries would appear to be producing some thing from occasional out crops of rock in the same area. Any offers?
