' Lifeboat Cottage, but now known as The Boathouse. This was one of the first lifeboat stations to be built in Britain in the early 1820's and is now a holiday let. The lifeboat station is now at Seahouses. The attached photo taken on the 11th October 2014 shows the large lintel above where the large doors used to be. '
