' My Gran and Grandad's house, 4 Spenser Avenue. This is heart rending stuff! Mr and Mrs Pepperall next door at number 2. Burnthouse Lane was filmed from the early thirties, when it was built, by Aerofilms, and virtually every photo shows my Grandparent's house (they lived in it from new until 1974)and there's always washing on the line. It really does add a personal and emotional dimension to the photos for me. '
