' In 1948, the film "Passport to Pimlico" was made on a purpose-built set constructed on this site. By that time, most of the buildings on this site had been destroyed (during WW2), so all that was left was one vast bombsite (as you can see). "Passport to Pimlico" was released in 1949. In the UK, the Blu-Ray restored edition of the film includes still photographs and a short documentary. Great for local history buffs! '
