The photograph shows the female staff of the company decorating the works ready for Christmas circa 1935. This picture was verified as being of W'm Bate Ltd. by a Mrs Roseblade of Alexandra Road, Walsall who recognised her sister-in-law as the woman looking directly at the camera and smiling.
