' The site of the White Swan on the corner of Bath and Dudley Streets. Very old premises built in the 18th century and remained until the 1930s when the premises were demolished along with a great many others in the area. the illustration shows not only the White Swan but also the Seven Stars that stood on opposite on the corner although these premises are not visible on the aerial photograph. The Seven Stars was a Georgian building and had windows that curved not only from side to side but also from top to bottom, an unusual feature I think for this area. '
