The Walsall Brotherhood building opened in November 1903. The accompanying picture shows the building in the 1960s and also the trowel that Sir frank James used to lay the foundation stone. The inscription reads:- Presented to Frank James J.P., D.L. at the laying of the stone of the Walsall Brotherhood Social Club. Tuesday July 21st 1903. '
