' Hebburn Ferry Landing. The photo is from my website www.oldtyneside.co.uk. Years ago people could get to Wallsend or Walker from the landing & it was well used by the workers in the shipyards. Hebburn men might have worked across the river & Wallsend people worked on the Hebburn side at places like Reyrolles & not just the ship yards. '
