' This fine large house is Court Place. Richard Addinsell wrote the Warsaw Concerto when living here in 1941; Sir Alan Gardiner the Egyptologist owned the house 1947 - 61, since when it has been a residential block for the University of Oxford. Not sure who was living there at the time of the photos though. '
