' Of this large group of buildings only this part with small tower remain. In 1793 a Parish workhouse was erected. By 1839 it had been enlarged to 300 inmates. In 1879 and 1901 an infirmary (now demolished) was enlarged. A Nurses home was added. The buildings became Trent Hospital and was closedin the 1990's. '
