' "Mumbles Train"/"Tren y Mwmbwls" track - the old tramway along the bay, originally opened in 1806, and closed and dismantled in 1960, after it had been taken over by South Wales Transport (one of the local bus companies!) a couple of years earlier. As the picture seems to show overhead gantries, this photo must have been taken some time after the electrification of the line in 1928. '
