' An incongruous tenement building known locally as 'the 'Windjammers'. Built in the 1870s, part of it once housed a local council school, as well as other tenants. The building shows roof damage sustained as the result of enemy action during WW2. It seems that no repairs were made and the building was soon to be demolished. '
