' Borthwick Cold Store. Designed by Sir Edwin Cooper and built in 1934, this cold store was owned by Thomas Borthwick and sons and presumably gave its name to the cobbled street in front, which was originally Butchers Row. The Cold Store closed in October 1972 and was demolished in 2006/7. '
