Midland Railway Carriage Shed. It was only accessed by the Nunnery Line up from Sheffield Midland Station. However it doesn't look like it lasted long after the photo was taken. On 1950's maps it has been replaced with platform ramps to clean the coaches. Maybe it was destroyed in the war by fire bombs? '
