' A truly unique photo. Whilst Burrator Dam was being increased in height by ten feet this temporary suspension bridge was built to allow access to the other side. When the Burrator Dam work was completed in September 1928 the suspension bridge was dismantled. This must be one of the last photos taken of the bridge. '
