' I used to swim twice a day at Wealdstone Swimming Pool in the late 1950s/early 1960s - Training. Mr Seagrove was in Charge of the pool and he lived in Christchurch Avenue. The pool was cold but once you got in it was OK. I attach a photo taken about 1960 I think. '
