' This was the dinning hall for the workers at Carr's Biscuit factory, not visible on this photo are the lovely gardens to the front of the entrance where the employees could sit on fine days. Carr was a Quaker and had a firm belief in employees being given the right to better themselves with reading skills so also provided reading spaces. '
