' The 2nd St James CoE, built 1901-2.The tower & spire were added in 1910. Two incendiary bombs gutted the interior in 1941. Refurbishment was completed in 1952. The 1st St James (on the same site) was built in 1842. There is a Victorian-era pillar box outside the church. '
