' Tuel Lane. This is the original route of Tuel Lane down from the sharp bend. This stretch of road is now called Tower Hill and is a cul-de-sac where the sharp bend is shown on this photograph. Tuel Lane was re-routed to meet Wharf Street at Christ Church, to follow a less severe gradient and eliminate the sharp bend. '
