The Territorial Army Centre would soon be built here during the expansion of the Territorial Army in the run-up to WW2. The TA centre has now come and gone. It was originally home to a Royal Artillery anti-aircraft unit, with similar units based at drill halls at Wealdstone and South Harrow. Latterly, it was home to a Royal Signals unit who moved on to Uxbridge when Harrow was closed and torn down. '
