' I need to correct myself . This was the position of the original "iron mission " Holy Innocents daughter church , however in 1921 this was converted into St Micheals Parochial hall (article Middleton Guardian) used for dances , youth club and 2nd Middleton Scout group . Further to the east on Kenyon Lane is the newly constructed replacement Holy Innocents Church . Photo EPW016450 shows both these at once , a current parishioner now assures me the demolition photos of an arched roofed church are the 1925 built Holy Innocents about 1978 . Kelvin '
