' I know this is the "Dreadnought" owned by J. Polkinghorn, I think, and locally-built in 1936 for passenger-carrying service off this foreshore. Didn't get requisitioned on May 28th, 1940, for Dunkirk for some reason; but was taken-up for RN service as a Harbour tender later during the War. '
