' Lyon's Farm This farm near the top of Preston Hill was once the farm of John Lyon (1534-92), yeoman farmer of Preston who founded Harrow School. He bequeathed the farm and other lands to the school for its continuing upkeep. Much of the farm land had, by this time, already been sold off for development, but the farmhouse existed until 1960 when it was demolished. '
