This was a Thursday morning, about 8:00am I would guess from the shadows cast by the buildings, yet there are only 4 cars visible on this, the main route from London to Dover. Now in 2015, in addition to the disused rail bridge becoming a road bridge, there is the Medway tunnel to the north and two 4 lane motorway bridges to the south. The increase in traffic over a 67 year period is incredible. '
