British Instructional Film Studios.
Welwyn Garden City once had its own film studio, which opened in 1928. Mainly used initially for British Instructional Films, a number of features were also made there, including crime thriller Brighton Rock (1947), starring a young Richard Attenborough. The facility closed in 1950.
