3ft gauge tracks of the erstwhile Ballycastle Railway, which had just been closed (3/7/1950)by the Ulster Transport Authority during their purge of railways in Northern Ireland.
It had been opened in 1880 and eventually absorbed by the LMS (NCC) in 1924 and thus Nationalised in 1948. '
