This looks like a Greenline AEC single-deck coach of London Transport's T-type class.
Above the windows is an indicator board running for much of the length of the vehicle which gives details of the route the coach is operating on. In 1937 the coach could have been running on the Greenline K1 route (Baldock - London - Dorking) or possibly the K2 on Saturday afternoons and Sundays from Hitchin - London - Horsham, a very long 80 mile long route that took 4 hours and 7 minutes! |
