Hello I live today at 61 Heston Ave.

When did you leave Heston Ave and what was the number of your house.

Kind regards

David Hollinshead

David, I don't want to make it too easy for you, but you should be able to identify your own house here, and therefore work out my house number. It's pin is spot on!

We moved away from Heston in 1980. My grandad bought the house new, then my dad later bought it off him. I think the Garvey family lived at No.61 when I was there (might be wrong though...), had a big lavender bush in the front garden - smelt lovely!

Grange Farm. U.S. Airman Gaston N. Riggs crashed his stricken USAAF Mustang into this house in 1945, sadly dying fron his injuries. The aircraft had mechanical problems, and although not based there, he was attempting to land at Heston.
