This photo encapsulates the essence of inter-war suburban housing planning, with its elegant use of a central roundabout, a main central boulevard and sweeping crescents and curves. A visual and geometric masterpiece, and very pleasing to look at. if you ever do another 'Britain from Above' book, this would be a strong candidate to go into it. |
