I had a wonderful stroll up here on Sunday 14th September and amazingly the old place has hardly changed at all in eighty odd years. There were even people swimming in the warm sunlight!

Budleigh beach is 100% pebbles, no sand at all.

It must have been an exceptionally warm September day considering the number of people on the beach and swimming in what is usually cold water!

This is a tea hut and is still serving teas and delicous bacon sandwiches! The layout is exactly the same today even down to the flagpole.
