The new Council House is under construction, with the steelwork supporting the tower and dome evident. Also note in the top left the large former Nottingham Victoria Station on the Great Central Railway, now the Victoria Shopping Centre. The stalls show that a market was still being held in the Old Market Square at this time. |

It is not known as the "town hall" it is always called the "council house" |
