This was the old Stanley Park aerodrome in Blackpool which had been a satellite of the Vickers factory at Squires Gate during WW2. The site was used between 1954 and 1970 to house the Royal Lancs Agricultural Show and since 1972 has been the site of Blackpool Zoo |
