Waltham Cross trolleybus terminal point. The trams had had their teminus in the high street but when they were replaced by trolleybuses the wires were extended round the corner in Elenor Cross Road. Four routes were served from here, 627 -Tottenham Court Road, 649 - Liverpool Street, 659 - Holborn, & 679 - Smithfield. Trolleybuses commenced operating from here in 1938 and were in turn converted to motor buses at stages 10 & 11 of the bus replacement programme during April and July 1961.
