I too have fond memories of "Bob Carver" fish and chips in the big tent in the area alongside Holy Trinity church. When that market was moved, they acquired premises in Trinity House Lane and Chapel Street. |

Almost certainly the original Melrose Abbey. She was built in the 1920s and provided the once or twice weekly ferry service to Rotterdam. |
