This building [unk date of construction] was associated with
the Air Ministry, and locals referred to it as such. Purpose
unk, but at later time, the street level part of the building was converted into shops. Remaining as such today. |

West Drayton and Yiewsley Railway Station GWR.[2nd station]
This side is for Yiewsley direction access/egress and Bus Terminal/Terminus. A tunnel walkway towards West Drayton, in the opposite direction, within station under tracks, permitted access/egress to Platforms and Booking Hall concourse etc located at the Yiewsley access.
Till 1960's bus routes were single deck equipped, due bridge height restrictions along route. |

22 High Street, Yiewsley named "Thorndale" was Compulsory purchased, pre 1939, for Canal Bridge development. However
not demolished till late 1960's or maybe the early 1970's, was used as the local WRVS office.
When demolished the site was utilised for modern health centre incorporated with existing health centre [clinic] shown pictured to right. |
