Oil Mill Barracks. Industrial buildings utilised by both the army and navy during WW1 and WW2. Reverted to commercial use after WW2 and were destroyed by fire in 1965.

One of either the SS Hampton, Shepperton or Twickenham Train Ferry boats still fitted with the rear wartime gantry which enabled loading and unloading of rolling stock without the need for a linkspan enabing the ships to operate across to France soon after the D-Day landings.
