My house - built in the 1840s, I'm told it was the original coastguards house for Cleethorpes

Cleethorpes was a terminus, this turntable for turning the steam locos, the incoming locomotives on Excursions would also turn here - and then haul their coaches to Suggets Lane to await return home time. Then they would back into Cleethorpes from Suggets lane and take the Day Trippers back home to places like Wakefield, Rotheram, Sheffield, Manchester etc.
